REUTER-Insight

70 years of precision, passion and innovation

Company anniversary of REUTER TECHNOLOGIE

On October 13, 2023, we had the privilege of celebrating our 70th anniversary with numerous customers, employees, and friends of the company at Schlosshotel Weyberhöfe in Sailauf. Under the charming moderation of Katrin Küx, we experienced an entertaining and inspiring afternoon. After the warm welcome by CEO Florian Reuter and the greetings from District Administrator Dr. Alexander Legler, IHK Managing Director Dr. Andreas Freundt, and our longtime coach Dr. Dr. Cay von Fournier, Matthias Kress delivered a laudation for our company. He particularly highlighted the dedication and performance of our Managing Director Karl-Heinz Reuter, who has significantly shaped the company over many decades and made it what it is today. In recognition of this commitment, he was awarded the Golden Honorary Pin of the Fachverband Metall Bayern in this festive setting.

The diverse history of REUTER and the company philosophy were explained in an interview with our Managing Directors Karl-Heinz and Albrecht Reuter.

Karl-Heinz Reuter was awarded the Golden Honorary Pin of the Fachverband Metall Bayern.
Presentation by Dr. Henning Beck on the "Biology of brain waves".

In addition, a panel discussion with high-profile guests highlighted the trends of the workspace 4.0:

  • Heike Wenzel, President of IHK Aschaffenburg and herself a family business owner of the Wenzel Group, shared her experiences with the 4-day workweek.
  • Inventor Karl Bauch explained where society should develop, for example, to reduce bureaucratic hurdles for businesses.
  • Manfred Boretius, a decades-long expert in vacuum brazing technology, illustrated that continuous innovation is indispensable as a driving force for technology companies.
  • Axel Korge from Fraunhofer IAO reported on how, together with REUTER 25 years ago, he introduced many methods of “teamwork” that now fall under the term “agile” for a modern business world.

The crowning moment of the afternoon was the presentation of neuroscientist Dr. Henning Beck, who explained the “Biology of Brain Waves” and vividly and entertainingly demonstrated that AI will likely never fully replace humans but complements them very well in many areas.

Subsequently, we concluded the evening at the Weyberhöfe, enjoying the beautiful late summer weather.

Many thanks to all who contributed to this unforgettable afternoon!
