Laser welding – universal process for complex geometries

With laser welding, REUTER TECHNOLOGIE covers all weld geometries, such as butt welds, overlap seams or fillet welds. Depending on the workpiece, the ambient atmosphere can be freely selected. Further benefit: The large distance between workpiece and laser source (up to approx. 500 mm), also enables the welding of locations that are difficult to access. Large gap widths can be bridged by suitable filler materials. The most important benefit of laser welding, however, is the low thermal distortion caused by the process in the workpiece. Finally, the small laser spot ensures a very local melting of the material during the welding process.
